As a fellow go-getter, I am always impressed by my network and it’s ability to push forward. Sometimes life’s curveballs can send us for a tailspin that seems like an insurmountable force. What has made you a go-getter?
Tip for GO-GETTER Enthusiast! Do not stop at this moment. When you quit during a low time or a lost moment, recovery is hard.
What you need to do:
1) Silence your surroundings - you may not be able to hear your own thoughts.
2) Center your focus - This can happen with a brain dump where you write down everything that you are thinking.
3) Get it out - Yell. Swear if needed. Look over your list and cross our things that do not make sense to you after you have silenced “the noise”.
4) Chunk it UP - configure small steps and set yourself up for little wins that lead to big wins. Little wins could be setting the goal of looking at the list the next day at a specific time. Determine if you will be narrowing down the list or creating a new list. The goal for today is re-visiting the list the next day.
5) Guess what - you did not quit. You chose to fight another day — review the list once again.
